Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lancaster follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Growing up in South Philly, I’ve been lucky enough to eat some amazing Vietnamese food, so I definitely know a good bowl of pho when I taste one. Sai Gon Cafe in Lancaster, PA is an absolute hidden gem! I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special) and it was DELICIOUS!!!!! The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I also had their fresh limeade, which was perfectly refreshing and went great with the meal. The only downside? I live about an hour away! If I lived closer, this would easily be one of my weekly go-to spots. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of smiles, which made the experience even better. Great food, great vibe, and genuine hospitality. Sai Gon Cafe is definitely worth the drive. I’ll be back! 🇻🇳🍜🔥

Been going for several years when I have work in the area. It is always delicious. I have tried almost everything on the menu. The food is so fresh and yummy. They a good selection. My favorite is the Bahn Mi and Pho, but everything is good. The portions are generous. The staff is good. It’s always nice to have a go to restaurant when I’m away from home. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This place has an incredible tofu bahn mi, for anyone who wants a vegan option! Also they will make things spicier if you ask. My husband likes their pho.

Sai Gon Cafe was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, hot, and delicious. The Vietnamese coffee was made to order, authentic, and tasted phenomenal! This is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in town, don’t sleep on it. The owner was very informative, great to talk to, and if you want, will guide you to try something new that won’t disappoint.

I got the vermicelli with grilled pork (slightly fatty and flavorful), egg roll (fresh and crispy), and pickled ham (interesting texture but good). My husband got the pho tai, which had excellent light broth and tender beef as others described. We shared appetizer #9 (shrimp and pork salad with lotus rootlet) which I haven’t seen at other Vietnamese restaurants and am glad we got it. We appreciated having the shrimp already peeled for us. We also ordered two bahn mi to go, lemongrass chicken and beef, both of which had perfect ratios of meat to bread and veggies. Usually, I order extra meat for bahn mi from other places but was not disappointed here. If you ever have a pop-up in York even with just bahn mi, we’ll be there!
